  • Tasha Souza Arocha

    Digital Learning Specialist

    Tasha Souza Arocha is an instructional designer and facilitator dedicated to creating inclusive and impactful learning experiences for professionals at all stages of their careers. She has years of experience designing training materials and learning content for organizations small and large.

    In their day to day, she focuses on designing and delivering transformative learning experiences through a variety of modalities, including live/virtual, live/co-located, and online/asynchronous formats. Her focus areas have included Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (EDIB), Assessing Positions for Work Models, Tools for Effective Brainstorming, Creating Psychological Safety, and more. Tasha works with both employee and manager populations at a large university.

    Tasha lives in Oakland, California with her partner and their two beloved cats. Outside of work, she volunteers with Oakland Promise as a Mentor supporting young adults making the transition from high-school to college. Passionate about education and social justice, she enjoys being involved in her community and neighborhood.

    She holds a Bachelor’s in Organizational Communication and a Master’s in Adult Education and Human Resource Development both from Florida International University.

  • Erica Barth

     Organizational Consultant | Facilitator

    Erica is a seasoned business strategist and leadership consultant with a career spanning corporate, entrepreneurial, and consulting roles. With experience at IBM, American Express, and Fortune 500 clients, she specializes in organizational transformation, leadership development, and business strategy.

    As the Founder & Director of Harlem Yoga Studio, Erica has built a thriving community-centered business, leading a team of over 20 teachers and managers. She integrates mindfulness and leadership coaching to help organizations and leaders navigate complexity with clarity and purpose.

    Previously, Erica worked as a senior consultant at IBM Global Business Services, leading large-scale organizational change projects across multinational banks. At American Express, she developed and executed high-impact marketing and business growth strategies, managing teams and driving multi-million-dollar revenue initiatives.

    Erica holds a Master’s in Social Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She is deeply committed to community development, mindfulness practices, and leadership coaching, serving on the board of Exhale to Inhale and contributing to local business collectives.

    A New York native, Erica finds balance through yoga, community work, and exploring the city’s best food spots.

  • Svetlana Shmulyan, PhD.

    Organizational Researcher | Business Strategist | Educator | Artist

    Svetlana Shmulyian is an expert in organizational research and strategy, with over 15 years of experience helping businesses and institutions navigate change through data-driven insights and evidence-based decision-making. A former consultant at IBM, PwC, and Arthur Andersen, she has worked with Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, and mission-driven organizations to optimize structures, enhance leadership effectiveness, and create measurable impact.

    As an Adjunct Associate Professor at Columbia University, Svetlana teaches research methodologies, consulting strategies, and statistical analysis, equipping future leaders with the tools to understand complex systems and drive meaningful change. Her work bridges disciplines, integrating organizational psychology, business strategy, and cultural analysis to help organizations thrive in dynamic environments.

    Alongside her work in research and strategy, Svetlana is also an acclaimed jazz vocalist, bandleader, and composer. Her breadth of experience across business, academia, and the arts gives her a unique ability to approach challenges from multiple perspectives—blending rigorous analysis with creative problem-solving. Whether conducting research, advising leaders, or performing on stage, she brings a deep understanding of how structure, culture, and innovation intersect to shape success.

    Svetlana holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, an M.S. in Nonprofit Management, and a B.S. with honors in Mathematics. Fluent in English and Russian, she thrives in environments that demand both strategic vision and adaptability.
